Minor in Life

RESULTS for
Semester I 08/09 is out!
This minor is suitable for non-Life Sciences majors from the Faculty
of Science majoring in areas such as:
Chemistry,
Applied Chemistry (with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
Computational Science
Statistics and Applied Probability
Requirements:
Students should read and pass 6 core Life Sciences modules outlined below:
Level 1: 2 modules
Level 2: 2 modules (except our experimental techniques modules)
Level 3: Any 2 modules out of a given area of concentration of our Level 3 LS modules (these should not be from two different areas of concentration)
Curriculum Rationale
The minor is designed such that non-Life Sciences students receive sufficient depth of training in selected Life Sciences topics. Student reading this minor will gain basic grounding in specialized topics of life sciences that are becoming indispensable in various fields of science.
